We aim to support small and growing businesses with fair market rates. Fees vary by stall type:

Indoor Table Stall (HI Jericho Beach Hostel only) - $150 + tax

Tent Stall (10’ x 10’) - $150 + tax

Ready-to-Eat Tent - $200 + tax

Food Truck - $250 + tax + 5% of sales

Shared Tent Stall (10’ x 10’) - $270 +tax

To set up your stall, please bring:

✔ Tables & chairs
✔ Tent (recommended 10’ x 10’) with secure weights
✔ Electrical supply (extension cords, batteries, lights if needed)
✔ Professional displays (banner, signage, cards/brochures)
✔ Work-ready equipment for hand-washing (required for food vendors)
✔ Card readers and point-of-sale systems
✔ Positive attitude!

🌱 We encourage vendors to minimize single-use plastics — please use compostable or reusable materials wherever possible.

If you are selling or sampling food/beverages:

✔ 📍Vancouver - A Temporary Food Service Application (TFSA) form found  here must be submitted 14+ days before the event.
✔ 📍 Toronto - Temporary Food Establishment Application (TFEA) form found here must be submitted 30+ days before the event.
✔ Food trucks, trailers, and carts are exempt from TFSA but must hold a valid mobile food permit.
✔ Copies of permits and approval documentation are required before market day.

(Ensure you contact local health authorities in your city to confirm specific requirements.)

Estimating servings can be tricky. We generally recommend 150–300 servings if your production capacity allows — but tailor this number based on your product type and event footprint.

Parking: Load-in/out available; vendors may need to park in nearby streets or public lots.

Wi-Fi: Not provided at most outdoor venues — plan to use your own data connection.

ATM: Available at Hi Jericho Beach Hostel. Not available at Locarno Beach — we recommend bringing some cash, but most vendors accept all major payment methods.

Hi Jericho Beach Hostel offers free indoor electricity, however, based on wattage there may be limits. Markets do not provide electrical hookups. Vendors must bring their own power sources or rent generators from trusted local providers.

You don’t need to be a 100% vegan company to participate, but all products sold at the market must be fully free of animal by-products. We do not allow the sale of dairy, eggs, meat, honey, or other animal-derived goods.

✔ Be prepared for rain or shine — markets operate in most weather conditions.
✔ Bring signage that clearly lists product ingredients, especially for allergen awareness.
✔ Professional conduct and environmental stewardship are expected at all times.
